Edible Marbury

Community Garden & Orchard

Since May 2022 we’ve planted an orchard and set up raised beds for seasonal vegetables in the grounds of the Marbury Road park in Stockport.

Urban Farm

We are at the start of a 10 year plan to turn this abandoned plot of land into a haven of allotments, a market garden and a community learning resource.

We are a volunteer-led, non-profit organisation and we're here to connect people with nature, champion sustainable growing and help in the fight against food poverty.

Volunteer with us

Our volunteers come from all walks of life and we get together for regular sessions which are open to everyone.

You don’t need any gardening experience or any special equipment. Just come as you are.

There’s no huge commitment involved so you can drop in and drop out as you like. Find out more about getting involved here.

Collaborate with us

We believe we’re always stonger together and that’s particularly true for community groups.

If we can help you and your group we will. And if you’d like to work with us in any way, let’s talk.

Events & Workshops

Throughout the year we put on a range of seasonal events, workshops and courses. Some are free, some are paid, and some just ask for a donation. Every single penny goes toward maintaining the garden, orchard and farm.
